Private Pinky Toe

“SOUND OFF!! 1..2..3..4..Hold on WAIT! Where is Private Pinky Toe?? Oh HOLY HELL! She’s gone AWOL!!!”

In the past two weeks I have been living in my own kind of private Hell. Prime example, this morning while on the X2 bus I passed this blond white woman on her way to work.  With her high poinytail, thin black belt and green one-piece knee length dress she was obviously on her way to someone’s office.  Then I got down to her heels, and. was. mortified….she had to feel that pinky toe flailing about all willy nilly. But since she obviously didn’t seem to, she had to be either sincerely ignorant to the fact, or a golden globe actress nominee. My vote is for the latter.

It’s mid-summer and as such there is a certain level of resentment that comes with the mere thought of putting on socks and closed-toed shoes. And since  there are no holidays on the horizon a lapse or two in the pedicure deprtment is perfectly understandable. (I’m talking chipped paint MAX! for about five minutes.)  What, however, is not understandable is how some women don’t feel that renegade pinky toe making a run for it from the other four toes.

Final word ladies, please for the love of the shoe gods, reel in that sneaky pinky toe and make it play nice with the others.  That, or you risk having yourself recieve a fashion citation from the SHOEGASM police. And no one wants that to happen, trust me.
